2. Hosting and Shopify

We operate this online shop using Shopify. For customers in the European Economic Area, Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland, provides the relevant services. Shopify processes technical data and data required to operate the shop, including data relating to orders, customer accounts, checkout and support. 3. Data and purposes

Depending on how you use the shop, we process contact and communication data, delivery and billing information, order and transaction data, optional customer-account data, technical device and access data, search and product interaction data, and consent preferences.

  • Shop operation and security: to provide the website, prevent misuse, maintain security and troubleshoot technical problems. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where necessary, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Enquiries and contracts: if you contact us through the item enquiry form or place an order, we process the information needed to respond, prepare or perform the contract, provide support and handle returns. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; legal retention duties may also require processing under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Customer accounts: where you create or use an optional customer account, we process the account and login data needed to provide that account. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Consent-based functions: analytics, marketing, non-essential cookies and embedded media are used only on the basis of consent where required. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

4. Item enquiries and communication

When you use the item enquiry form, we process the selected product, your name, email address and message in order to respond and, where applicable, prepare an individual offer. We retain this information only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any resulting contractual or statutory obligations.

5. Cookies and consent management

We use technically necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate the shop. Non-essential cookies and similar technologies, including analytics, marketing, preference and video technologies, are used only after the required consent has been given. 6. Apps and third-party services

We use Shopify Search & Discovery for search and product recommendations. We use T Lab – AI Language Translate for translations and content management; depending on its configuration, technical data and store content required for translation may be processed. See the T Lab provider privacy policy.

We embed product-related YouTube videos. When a video is loaded, Google/YouTube may process IP address, device and browser data and information about video use. The Google Privacy Policy applies.

We may use administrative tools, including the Shopify ChatGPT MCP App, to manage the shop and respond to requests. Depending on the task, these tools may process shop data made available through Shopify, such as customer, order, product or policy data. They are not used as an independent storefront advertising service.

7. Payments, delivery and other recipients

Depending on the selected payment and delivery method, we disclose the data required for payment processing, delivery, customer support, fraud prevention and legal compliance to Shopify, relevant payment and delivery providers, IT and hosting providers, and other service providers acting on our instructions. We do not disclose more data than necessary for the relevant purpose.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we use an adequacy decision or other legally recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Storage periods

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose. Data relating to orders, invoices and business correspondence may be retained for statutory periods. Enquiry data is deleted when the enquiry and any resulting obligations have been completed, unless a longer retention period is required or justified by law.

10. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
